How a T-Shirt Makes a Difference

For eight years in a row now, Stutzman Services has made a difference in Albany's two high schools by donating a brand new T-shirt for each and every student. How? The vision is simple, yet powerful:

  1. By uniting students and fostering school pride
  2. By promoting academic excellence and participation in school events
  3. By helping offset schools' limited budgets

Each shirt is printed with the current school pride motto on the front and the Stutzman Services logo on the back. South Albany gives a shirt to every student during school registration, while West Albany collects sizes during registration and distributes shirts prior to the first home football game.

We love to hear the overwhelmingly positive stories about the shirts from students and school staff. Students who may not otherwise be able to afford new school clothing get something new to wear, and hundreds of kids have arrived early to games, anticipating a new shirt.

At Stutzman Services, we see ourselves as more than just a plumbing, well water and landscape company. We strongly believe in giving back to our community, and we ultimately want to inspire other area businesses to support their local schools, too--helping them reach their full potential so our children can reach theirs.

That's how a T-shirt can make a difference.
