Water Features
In garden design, a water feature can range from a simple bubbling fountain to a large water garden with waterfalls and meandering streams. Moving water in the landscape is both visually, and audibly soothing. They can make lounging on a patio an even more relaxing experience. Over the past 15 years, the industry has kept pace with this growing market by producing innovative materials and construction techniques, high efficiency pumps, and improved components to help make water features easier to build and easier to maintain.
We design water features according to our clients’ preferences for style, maintenance, and placement in the garden. They can be a formal pool with a sheet of clear falling water, a pondless stone fountain with a hidden reservoir, or an elaborate natural style water garden with large boulders, cascading falls, colorful fish, and plantings of water lilies, bog plants and ornamental grasses. Whatever the style, a water feature can be one of the most enjoyable elements in the garden.
Stutzman Services had the opportunity to design and install a large Koi Pond for the Byers family during the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition show produced by ABC.
