  1. Install landscape lighting and hardscapes such as walkways, retaining walls and patios
  2. Plant a Dwarf Conifer or Holly for a supply of holiday foliage…even in the smallest of landscapes
  3. Fertilize! This is the most important feeding of the year
  4. Continue to monitor for wet weather diseases such as Red Thread and Fusarium

January

  1. Great time to install patios, retaining walls and water features
  2. Plan for your garden in the spring
  3. Work with a professional to get a new landscape design

February

  1. Order seeds for spring
  2. Plant peas and lettuce
  3. Prune roses, fruit trees, grapes
  4. Cut dormant stems from spring flowering shrubs (Forsythia, Cherry, Flowering Qhince) to force for an early bouquet
  5. Add lime to adjust pH level of soil
  6. Control moss with Iron Sulfate
